Chernivtsi region - one of the 24 circuits Ukraine. It is located in the south-west of Ukraine, bordering the south with Romania and Moldova, in the west and northwest with Ivano-Frankivsk region, in the north with Ternopil region and Chmielnicki, in the east with Vinnytsia region.

Vinnytsia Oblast covers about 5.4% of the territory of Ukraine. It is located in the forest-steppe zone. It has extensive deciduous forests, covered mainly by oaks, hornbeams, lindens, ash, maples and elms. 204 rivers belonging to the Dnieper, Bug and Dniester basins flow through the region.
