Kirovohrad region - one of the 24 circuits Ukraine. It is located in the central part of Ukraine, on the Dnieper. The capital of the region is Kropywnycki.
In the north, the circuit borders with Poltava region, in the east and southeast with Dnipropetrovsk, in the south of Mikołajowski and Odessa, in the west with Vinnytsia.
Most of the oblast is situated in the historical territory of Ukraine and Zaporizhia. The western outskirts are situated within the borders of Podolia.
