By train
The Inlandsbanan offers year-round passenger transport. During the summer months, connections are offered in both directions twice a day.
The state railway SJ does not offer bicycles on the train in Sweden. But there are private railway companies that offer this.
- Tågåkeriet AB offers direct connections from Gothenburg to Borlänge. There you can take up to four bicycles with you.
- Tågkompaniet AB offers regional connections from Mora to Borlänge. There you can take up to four bicycles with you.
In each case, the bicycle spaces cannot be reserved. So there is no guarantee that you will be able to travel by bike, for example if you take the ferry from Kiel to Gothenburg Stenaline combined, you can travel from Germany to Dalarna on your own bike.

- The European route E 45 (old name: Riksväg 45) leads through Orsa.
- Orsa is by bus through the company Dalatrafik connected to regional traffic. There is also a bus to and from Östersund twice a day. The central bus stop is called 1 Orsa bus station.

There are only a few bike paths in Orsa itself. Nevertheless, Orsa and the surrounding area can be easily explored by bike. A bike tour around Orsasjön (approx. 45 km) is popular, but other destinations can also be easily reached by bike. On the way south towards Mora, you should choose Lisselhedsvägen by bike and not the busy E45 the planning of local bike trips is provided by the Siljansleden (cykel) [1]

There are several places to eat in Orsa. The opening times vary greatly between the high season and the low season.
- With a special view of the Orsasjön you can in 1 Orsa beach restaurants eat.
- Simple dishes are also served in the restaurant next to the bowling hall in the 2 McGregor's Sports Bar offered.

nightlife
There is hardly any nightlife in Orsa. Some restaurants are open in the evenings, especially the cinema 2 Bio Röda Kvarn. Performances usually take place on Thursdays and Sundays; Sometimes there are also children's shows on weekends. The cinema is run on a voluntary basis by a small association. However, due to the conversion to digital technology, current movies are still being offered, some even in 3D. English films run in the original with Swedish subtitles.
