Paphos - a city on the south-west coast Cyprus, an important tourist center. The fourth largest city in the country.
Characteristic
In antiquity, there were two settlements here: Paphos Palaia (Old Greek Πάφος Παλαιά - Old Paphos) and Paphos Nea (Old Greek Πάφος Νέα - New Paphos). New Paphos is inhabited today.
According to Greek mythology, the goddess of love Aphrodite was born from the sea foam off the coast of Paphos.

The second largest airport in Cyprus is located in Paphos. Airlines Ryanair offer direct seasonal flights from Krakow. The charter airline Travel Service flies to Paphos from Katowice, Warsaw, Poznań and Wrocław.

The A6 motorway runs to Paphos Limassol, which is an extension of the A1 motorway from Nicosia.
