Fundy National Park is located on the edge of Chignectou Bay, one end of the bay of fundy, to New Brunswick at about 90 km southwest of Moncton. It covers an area of ​​almost 206 km2 and comprises two main landscapes: a jagged coast known for the highest tides in the world and a plateau notched with ravines covered with a mixed forest. It is the core area of ​​the Fundy Biosphere Reserve recognized by UNESCO. It is adjacent to the Gorge-de-la-Rivière-Point-Wolfe and Colline-McManus protected natural areas.

The park is administered by the federal government agency Parks Canada and is visited annually by 260,000 visitors.
