Understand
Prince Albert National Park is located in the Northern Saskatchewan at the southern limit of the boreal forest. Even though the park is named after the town of Prince Albert, its main entrance is located 60 km north of town. It covers an area of 3 874 km2 and has several bodies of water including Kingsmere, Crean and Waskesiu lakes. It only includes one city, Waskesiu, which is located 40 km north of the south entrance to the park.
The park is open year round, but it is most visited from May to September.

- Waskesiu Golf Course (The Lobstick) – 18 hole golf course designed by Stanley Thompson.
- Hiking – The park includes several hiking trails. The following trails have less than 2 km long and all have explanatory brochures: Boundary Bog, Mud Creek, Treebeard, Wakesiu River, Kingsmere River, Amiskowan, Ice-Push Bridge, Narrows Peninsula and Spruce River Highlands Tower. The following trails are longer, ranging from 13 km To 54 km (including return): Kingfisher, Gray Owl, Freight, Kinowa, Elk, Fish, Hunters and Spruce River Highlands.

Campsites
- Beaver Glen Campground Located immediately west of the village of Waskesiu – 213 sites, half of which have access to electricity, but none have connections for water or for the septic tank service, showers with hot water, septic tank service and central drinking water. Reservations can be made through the Parks Canada camping reservation service by phone (toll-free number) or online.
- Red Deer Campground (Trailer Court) Located immediately southwest of Beaver Glen Campground in the village of Waskesiu – 161 sites with electricity and connections for water and for the septic tank designed for large vehicles or recreational trailers. Campfires are not permitted. Reservations can be made through the Parks Canada camping reservation service by phone (toll-free number) or online.
- The Narrows Campground – Flush toilets with cold water only, no other service. The sites are “first come, first served”.
