the Bic national park is a Quebec national park located in the estuary of the St.Lawrence River at Bas-Saint-Laurent to Canada. Its sunset is recognized as one of the most beautiful in the world by National Geographic.
Understand
The park 33 km2 includes a cutaway section of the coast of the St.Lawrence Estuary with a dozen bays and rugged terrain culminating with Pic Champlain at 346 m. One third of the vascular plants of the Quebec, including several subarctic and alpine-arctic plants. In terms of fauna, it is home to the highest concentration of American porcupines in theNorth America. It is also a good place to observe harbor seals, common eiders and raptors.

From Quebec or from Wolf River, take highway 20 east to L'Isle-Verte, continue on route 132 to the park. It is a journey of 3 h drive from Quebec and1 h drive from Rivière-du-Loup.
From Rimouski or from Matane, take route 132 west to the park. It is a 20-minute drive from Rimouski and 1 h 30 from Matane.

From the northwest of New Brunswick, take highway 2 west which becomes route 185 in Quebec, continue to Témiscouata-sur-Lac, take route 232 east to its intersection with route 293, continue to Three pistols, take route 132 east to the park. It is a journey of 2 h 20 from'Edmundston.
By bus

1 888 999-3977 (free number) – Company of interurban coaches ensuring the connection between Quebec and Rimouski. The coach does not stop directly at the park, but a stop is available at Bic and Saint-Fabien, the park being located between the two on route 132 at approximately 15 mins everyone's journey.
By bike
- Green Route – The Bic national park is crossed by the Route verte 1 connecting Levi's To Rimouski. It takes about 300 km from Lévis and 30 km from Rimouski. From'Edmunston to New Brunswick, take Route verte 8 (Petit-Témis Interprovincial Linear Park) to Wolf River and then continue towards Rimouski.
