the Lac-Témiscouata National Park is a Quebec national park located in the region of Bas-Saint-Laurent to Canada.
Understand
Parc national du Lac-Témiscouata is located east of Lac Témiscouata in the regional county municipality (MRC) of Témiscouata to Bas-Saint-Laurent to Quebec. It includes two main sectors: one in the northeast covering an area of 157,2 km2 and one in the south-east covering 18,1 km2 from Lake Témiscouata. In addition to bordering Lake Témiscouata, one of the most beautiful in the region, the park includes several small lakes and is crossed by the Touladi River which is canoeable. The park includes the largest white-tailed deer ravage in Bas-Saint-Laurent. Other mammal species present include moose, coyote, red fox, black bear, ermine, American mink, American marten, fisher, river otter, lynx. Canada, snowshoe hare, red squirrel, chipmunk, squirrel, Canada beaver, muskrat and American porcupine. It also includes several Amerindian archaeological sites among the oldest in Quebec.
