Castle of Pinhel
During spring the almond (amendoeiras) trees blossom, especially around the town of Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo.
- 1 Castle of Pinhel (Castelo de Pinhel). It has been listed as a Monumento Nacional National monument since 1950. It sits on a hill (overlooking the Côa river and Marofa mountain), and is one of the more important castles along the Côa river Valley.
