Pleiku (or Plei Cu / Play Cu) is a city in the province Gia Lai in the highlands of Vietnam.
background
Pleiku is in the middle of Vietnam. Travelers will only use the place as a transit point as there are hardly any tourist attractions here. The biggest advantage of the city is the airport with connections to Saigon. You can travel to Cambodia via Pleiku, as the border crossing is now open to tourists.

Plei Cu owns one 1 Airport (IATA: PXU) that of Vietnam Airlines (of Đà Nẵng and Ho Chi Minh City) and from Air Mekong (of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City) is approached with fan guns. The base of the airport is a former airfield of the American armed forces. The terminal building is kept very simple. Next to the check-in counters for the two airlines there is only one small cafe.
