Świdnica County - poviat in Dolnośląskie Voivodeship, its seat is the city Świdnica. The district is situated in the south-western part Lower Silesia Province on Sudeten foothillsat the feet Wałbrzych Foothills and The Owl Mountains.
History
The Świdnica County was established in 1999 after the administrative reform. The present area of Świdnica County was part of Wałbrzych voivodeship with the capital w Wałbrzych, since 1999 it has been part of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship with the capital we Wroclaw.
Gross-Rosen Museum
