Presidente Figueiredo is a small town in the Brazilian state Amazon.
The city was founded in 1981 and is almost entirely tourism-based. It is too remote for industry and trade and the transport connections are complicated, which has resulted in the almost untouched state of the jungle. The climate is hot and humid with temperatures between 25ºC and 35ºC.
