Puigcerdà is a city of Catalonia, in the North-East ofSpain.
Capital of Lower Cerdanya, this agglomeration of just under 10,000 inhabitants is camped on a plateau dominated by the Pyrenees. It retains many traditional houses and is symbolized by the “Campanar” which was originally the steeple of a medieval church destroyed during the Civil War in 1936.
