Pursat(Khmer: ពោធិ សាត់) is the capital of the homonymous province in Cambodia.
getting there
The bus companies that operate the route between Battambang and Phnom Penh operate, drive through Pursat. They are the best choice for getting into the city. The route to / from Battambang costs $ 2.50 (1.5 hours), for Phnom Penh it costs $ 5.00 (approx. 4 hours).
Pursat is on the railway line between Phnom Penh and Battambang. A train should run once a week, but you should find out about the current situation on site at short notice.
