Quillan is a new commune of the'Aude, in the South West of France.
Occupying a privileged site in a loop of the Aude and at the entrance of the Pierre-Lys gorges, between scrubland, vineyards and the first peaks of the Pyrenean foothills, this small town of character retains beautiful old residences, an old bridge and a medieval castle.
The city has nearly 3,200 inhabitants and is at the center of an agglomeration of more than 10,000 inhabitants, strongly influenced by Perpignan.
