Rachel is a village of the United States of America located in Lincoln County, in the state of Nevada.
To know
Rachel is famous as it is close to the Nellis Air Force Range and Area 51 which is the location of Lockheed-Martin's Skunkworks and is notable for bomber and fighter development stealth, as well as the U-2 spy plane.

By car
Rachel is a three hour drive from Las Vegas. Take Nevada Highway 375, known as the Extraterrestrial Highway to get to your destination. There are no gas stations in Rachel.

You can walk around Rachel on foot.
What see
There aren't many tourist attractions. There was a large "Kentucky Fried Chicken" (KFC) logo on the ground in the northern part of the city and some claimed it was the first logo to be seen from space. There used to be an Area 51 Research Center operated in the late 1990s by UFO researcher Glenn Campbell, but it is now closed.
- "Extraterrestrial Highway" road signs (Along Nevada Highway 375). The road signs of Route 375, known as "Extraterrestrial Highway", are distinguished by the stickers stuck by tourists, the UFO / F-117 Nighthawk symbols and that do not use the font Highway Gothic for the main text.
- 1 Black Mailbox. Meeting place for UFO seekers. The cassette, stolen in 2015, was later replaced with a new one.

Rooms have been updated with microwaves, small refrigerators, new furniture, bedding, air conditioning, and other types of upgrades. They are pet-friendly (with a deposit) and offer free parking for motorhomes that do not require electricity (however, if you make a reservation online, you will have to pay a cent, which will be refunded on arrival).

For those approaching the perimeter ofArea 51: The various signs along the border of Area 51 have become tourist attractions, although they are guarded by cameras, armed guards and planes. Guards are placed nearby to make sure no one tries to enter Area 51, although it is unlikely that they will prevent these signs from being seen. Do not attempt to enter Area 51 or the Nellis Air Force Base Complex without permission from the installation commander. You will be fined or arrested for trespassing.
