The following list is intended to provide information about publishers who publish cycling literature (guides and maps) for Germany. To list the individual titles in this overview would go beyond the scope of this work.
So it's best to check the publisher's website to see if a guide is available for the region in which you would like to spend your cycling holiday. The publisher's program is usually sent free of charge (if in doubt, ask beforehand whether there will be any costs involved). The list does not claim to be complete.

Publishing house Dr. Barthel - Central Germany
The focus of this publisher's program is in Central Germany. In addition to cycle maps, some cycle guides are also available (including the Elbe cycle path).
Bielefelder Verlag BVA
The Bielefelder Verlag, (a company of Gundlach AG), publishes an extensive program in the field of cycling literature:
- The ADFC bike tour maps (Germany-wide map series 1: 150,000 with 27 maps)
- The ADFC regional maps 1: 75,000 (currently 67 titles from many regions in Germany)
- District cycling maps mainly 1: 50,000
- "Spiralos" (spiral-bound bike guides in 2/3 A4 format or 1/3 format)
- Cycle guide in pocket book format ("green row" for long-distance cycle paths, "blue row" for bike tour suggestions locally in individual regions)
- Five cycling magazines:
- bike sport (area MTB)
- active cycling (touring and touring cycling area)

- Radmarkt (specialist magazine for two-wheeler dealers)

Esterbauer publishing house
In the eighties, inter alia. The publisher, which emerged from a Viennese bicycle initiative, is the well-known bikeline-Line out. Many guides to well-known river routes have appeared in it. In addition to cycling guides for Germany and Austria, many titles are also available for other European countries. Even international cycling destinations like New Zealand are covered. The publisher from Ilmenau in Thuringia issues bicycle, bike and hiking maps as well as hiking and travel guides with a focus on new federal states.
- Cycling and hiking maps M 1: 30000: Thuringia and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania
- Cycling, hiking and waterway maps scale 1: 35000: The map series shows many water areas in eastern Germany.
- Cycling maps 1: 75000: The publisher also issues cycling maps on a scale of 1: 75000 for Thuringia / Central Germany. (e.g. the card Erfurt and the surrounding area)

Bruckmann publishing house
The Munich publishing house publishes numerous cycling guides to well-known long-distance cycle routes in Germany. One of the focal points of the range are titles on cycling routes in southern Germany. In addition, a book on the subject of "GPS and cycling" has been published by Bruckmann Verlag (title: GPS for bikers).
Galli Publishing House
The publishing house based in Hohenwart in Upper Bavaria publishes an extensive program in the field of cycling literature (focus on Bavaria and southern Germany):

Kompass Verlag
Kompassverlag has been issuing recognized hiking maps for decades. Cycle routes have also found their way into many maps. There is also a Germany-wide series of weatherproof cycle touring maps on a scale of 1: 70,000
Verlag Projekt Nord - Schleswig Holstein
This small publisher from Kiel publishes cycling maps (with a focus on Schleswig Holstein) and some cycling guides (including the Baltic Sea Cycle Route).

The publisher gives nationwide, among other things. Bike touring maps, cycling and hiking maps and mountain bike maps for many regions.
