Ramallah is a city in Palestine in the West Bank 15 kilometers north of Jerusalem. In the city there are parts of the government (the other part is in Gaza city).

By plane

From the Israeli international Ben Gurion Airport (near Tel Aviv) it is best to take a shared taxi (cost: approx. NIS 65) to Jerusalem. There you can be dropped off at the Jerusalem Hotel (near Damascus Gate). Directly opposite is the Arab bus terminal, from which the buses to Ramallah depart. The fare is currently NIS 6 (As of April 2010) . You can drive to Ramallah's bus terminal in around 45 minutes.

By train

Like the West Bank as a whole, Ramallah is not connected to the rail network.
