It Renier Sniederspad lies in Flanders in Belgium.

It Renier Sniederspad (GR 565) is a Grote-Routepad from Deurne near Antwerp via Zoersel, Turnhout and Kasterlee to Bladel and has a length of 121 km. The signage is such that it can be traversed in either direction. The path is named after the man of letters Renier Snieders who was born in Bladel and lived in Turnhout. The route is signposted with the white-red GR signs and the route is recorded in a GR topo guide published by the Association of Great Routes The route is projected on the digital map of Google Earth on [1].

Deurne is easy to reach from Antwerp Central Station by metro-tram. In the coming years, a white-red marked walking route through the city center of Antwerp is also expected to be realized, which will form a connection with the Renier Sniederspad. Anyone who wants to walk the route from Bladel is dependent on the bus services of the Hermes company from station Eindhoven; see [9292.nl].

The Renier Sniederspad can be divided into 6 stages between 21.5 and 27.7 km:

  1. Deurne / Castle Rivierenhof - P&R Zoersel (27.7 km)
  2. P&R Zoersel - Vosselaar / Bus stop de Lijn on the N12 (25.3 km)
  3. Vosselaar - Tielen Station (24.6 km)
  4. Tielen - Retie Centrum station (21.4 km)
  5. Retie Centrum - Bladel (26.0 km)

Safety

After the end point

Bladel is connected to the main station of by a bus line of the company Hermes Eindhoven. Who in Deurne at Antwerp ends, get on the tram to Antwerp Central Station. About half way you can get off the route at the train station of Turnhout.
