Roblin, which is known as the "Jewel of the Parkland" and "Flyfishing Capital of Manitoba", is a small town surrounded by lakes, streams, creeks and rivers in western Manitoba. Located 15 km (9.3 mi) east of the Saskatchewan border, Roblin's local economy is based on services, tourism, and the processing of wood and agricultural products.

Roblin is located on Goose Lakes and Krosney Lake and is within a short drive to Lake of the Prairies (Shellmouth Reservoir). The community is located between Duck Mountain Provincial Park and Riding Mountain National Park. As well, Roblin has a 9-hole golf course, outdoor swimming pool, ice arena, curling rink and movie theater. Area activities including fishing, hunting, hiking, skiing (both cross country and downhill), and snowmobiling.
