The Navigators route is a road route along the south shore of the St.Lawrence River in the east of Quebec.

Understand

The Navigators route mainly follows route 132 in the regions of Center-du-Quebec, of Chaudière-Appalaches and Bas-Saint-Laurent. It covers a distance of 470 km along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River. The route leads to attractions linked to the St. Lawrence River and the maritime world.

Steps

  • Baie-du-Febvre  – Includes an interpretation center on the fauna, flora and migratory birds of Lake Saint-Pierre.
  • Nicolet  – Includes the Anse-au-Port ecological park including two wooden walkways on stilts crossing woodlands and marshes leading to Lake Saint-Pierre.
  • Becancour  – Includes the Quebec Biodiversity Center, explaining the biodiversity of Lake Saint-Pierre.
  • Deschaillons-sur-Saint-Laurent  – Cap-Charles is a navigation center offering lively presentations on the life and history of the St. Lawrence River.
