climate
According to a popular Albert Hammond song, it never rains in Southern California (It Never Rains in Southern California ...)which of course is not entirely true. In fact, there is a semi-arid climate with 230-330 mm of precipitation over the course of the year, but most of it falls in the winter months from December to March. From May to September, however - according to the cliché - there is a maximum of one rainy day per month. Temperatures are mild all year round and in San Diego, for example, fluctuate between an average of 13.6 ° C in December and 22 ° C in August.
Foreign representations
There is a German Consulate General in Los Angeles, whose administrative and consular district includes all of Southern California.
