Zaragoza (Spanish Zaragoza) is the capital of spanish Zaragoza Province and the most important city in the region Aragonwhose administrative seat it is. The world Exhibition EXPO took place in 2008 under the motto Water and sustainable development held in Zaragoza.

The city was founded by the Romans in 24 BC. Under the name Colonia Caesaraugusta instead of. That name became Zaragoza.
