On the mainland coasts

At Phuket

The Andaman Sea is characterized by extremely varied and spectacular dive sites. The biodiversity and the abundance of fish are impressive. Whether colorful coral gardens, rock formations, steep walls and shipwrecks; From beginners to professional divers, everyone gets their money's worth. Diving in Phuket takes place all year round and mainly as part of day trips from the boat. Because far away from the coast there are the best diving conditions, especially in terms of visibility and marine life. The distance to the different diving areas (Racha Islands, Koh Mai Thon, Koh Doc Mai, Shark Point, Anemone Reef and King Cruiser Wreck) varies between 9 and 25 nautical miles. There are two main seasons in Phuket. Between October and May there is a dry season with pleasant temperatures, weak winds and calm seas. From June to September, monsoon winds create a humid, changeable climate. In between, more waves and short but heavy downpours must be expected. These factors, however, have no direct influence on the quality of the dive.
