Seven Mile Beach is a city on the Cayman Islands. It is located on the island of Grand Cayman.
background
This 10 km long stretch of beach is the tourist center of the island. In the course of the last few decades, similar to Negril, Jamaica, everything concreted over. On West Bay Road there is one hotel and restaurant after the other on the beach side. There are a number of shopping centers, golf courses and marinas across the street. An additional wide road with many roundabouts runs just a little more than 100 meters parallel to West Bay Road from Goeroge Town towards West Bay. There are expansion plans for apartment and villa complexes on artificial canals for the entire east coast in this area.
