Shibetsu (士別) is a small city in Kamikawa, Hokkaido. Breeding of Suffolk sheep is undertaken here.

By train
JR Soya Main Line runs through in the city from Asahikawa to Wakkanai. Limited Express "Super Soya" and "Sarobetsu" from Sapporo to Wakkanai, they stop the Shibetsu Station.
By bus
Highway bus service "Highway Nayoro" (高速なよろ号), it runs through from Sapporo to Nayoro with 4-5 round trips per day. About 2 hr 50 min and ¥2650 fare from/to Sapporo.
There are other bus services operated by Dohoku Bus[formerly dead link], from Asahikawa to Nayoro with 12 round trips per day.
By car
Hokkaido expwy runs from Sapporo to Shibetsu-Kenbuchi IC. There are plans to extend Nayoro.
