Shiding (石碇區) is a district of New Taipei.

Understand
Shiding is a rural district with a very small population (about 7,000). It is the site of the Fetsui Reservoir, which provides much of the water to the cities in the northern part of Taiwan island.

Shiding Old Street

- 6 Luku Incident Memorial Park (鹿窟事件紀念公園). A park commemorating one of the worst incidents of the white terror in Taiwan where over 400 people were arrested by the military government of the ROC and about 35 people were eventually executed.
