As Sierras de La Rioja are the mountain ranges of the argentinianSierras Pampeanas referred to that in the province La Rioja lie. They particularly impress with the play of colors in their rough rocky landscapes, but also with lovely valleys and romantic old villages.
The highest peaks of the Sierras Pampeanas are here, they reach a height of over 6,000 meters.
