Sir Bani Yas (Arabic:صير بني ياس, DMG Ṣīr Banī Yās) is an island 250 km southwest of Abu Dhabi. It is located about 9 km from Jebel Dhanna. The island is about 17.5 km long and 9 km wide, and has an area of ​​70.53 km². This makes it the largest natural island in the United Arab Emirates. It was also the namesake for the largest nature reserve in the United Arab Emirates, which was founded in 1970 by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan was erected.
