Description of the trail

The first part of the trail is relatively gentle and runs along a paved road, until a fork with the green trail green hiking trail to Wir. Then a short ascent to the top of Skalna. From then on, it leads to the top along a path covered with rock rubble. In some sections it requires climbing large rock blocks. Before the summit, there are several steep ascents. Approx. 30 minutes before the summit, the giant rock formation. A perfect vantage point to the top of the mountain, approx. 20 minutes before the summit. The trail reaches the summit from the south-west, at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The entire length of the trail runs through a beech forest, sometimes pine.

The dangers

The trail is slippery after rains, especially the cut stones at the top. One small exposure along the way.

Accommodation

  • Camping in Sulistrowiczki
  • The lower shelter near Ślęża

It is not recommended to pitch tents on the trail, especially in the Ślężański Landscape Park.
