trail

You go from the ferry pier through the village over the wooden bridge to the end of the street. Then follow the signs to Høgskrova Mountain. The ascent is secured with ropes and leads over large rocks. On the saddle you turn left to the summit and from there you have a wonderful view of the Lofoten wall and the islands around Skrova. After you have entered yourself in the summit book, you descend on the other side of the mountain to the sea. Once at the bottom, continue to the right and follow the circular path. The island on the left is a nature reserve. With a little luck you can see sea eagles and oystercatchers. The path leads to a small bay, past the 144 m high staircase and finally back to the road. Then you go back on the road to the ferry.
