Smart Village, Arabic:القرية الذكية, al-Qarya adh-Dhakīya, is a technology and high-tech center near the 6th of October City in the egyptian Governorate el-Gīza, about 15 miles west of Cairo located. In addition to business travelers, the city could be a destination for those interested in modern architecture. You can also watch the multimedia panorama show in the Documentation Center for Cultural and Natural Heritage Culturama and see the exhibition of astronomical instruments.

The Smart Village is located north of the Sheikh Zayed City in the north of the Cairo Alexandria Desert Road on an approximately square area with an edge length of 2 kilometers.
The technology and high-tech technology center was established in 2000 by decree 355 of the former Egyptian president Husni Mubarak founded. Construction work began the following year. This Smart Village is intended to be the model for several similar technology centers in Egypt. The Silicon Valley is considered to be his role model San Francisco.

There are no residential areas in the Smart Village.

In the street
Smart Village can usually only be reached by car, taxi or bus via the Cairo Alexandria Desert Road to reach. It is located about 28 kilometers behind the toll station. There is sufficient parking space on site.
There are several shuttle services mainly for the employees working here to and from Cairo.
