Strausberg is a city in the east of Berlin in Brandenburg.

Strausberg, the green town on the lake, is idyllically located in the middle of a nature reserve and adjacent to the Märkische Schweiz nature park. In addition to a historic old town that is well worth seeing, Strausberg impresses with its surroundings rich in forests and lakes.

getting there

By train

Strausberg is located on the Berlin - Küstrin-Kietz railway line and can be reached every hour from Berlin-Lichtenberg with the Niederbarnimer Railway (NE26) and every 20 minutes with the Berlin S-Bahn S5. The train station is in Strausberg-Vorstadt.

The actual center can be reached with the S-Bahn (S 5 in the direction of Strausberg Nord every 40 minutes. From Berlin Alexanderplatz it takes 54 minutes to get to Strausberg Stadt).
Another possibility is with the Strausberg Railway, which is a tram line.
