São Martinho do Porto is a community in the Centro region.

São Martinho do Porto belongs to the circle Alcobaça and is located directly on the Atlantic. The semicircular lagoon is almost completely cut off from the Atlantic by sand spits, relatively shallow and therefore ideal for children and many water sports. The city was founded in the 13th century by the monks from Alcobaça, it is on the slope below the chapel Santo António.
