Taldykorgan (Kaz. Талдықорған) - a city in the southeast Kazakhstan, on the Karatal River, at the foot of Alatau Djungarsky, the former capital of the Taldykurgy Oblast, now (since 2001) the capital of the Almsk Oblast. About 114 thousand residents.
