It Luxembourgish (Luxembourgish: Letzebuergesch) is a West Germanic language spoken in Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. Luxembourgish has about 300,000 speakers (of which 250,000 have the language as their first language) and is official in Luxembourg. The language is related to German and Dutch, but also has many loan words from French.
