The Valley is the capital of Anguilla and only town on the island.

background

The "island capital" is located roughly in the middle of the island and is a better village with an airfield, prison and three traffic lights. The Ronald Webster Park is a sports and fairground, where the island carnival is celebrated. On the southern outskirts is the airfield and the district of George Hill. To the northwest, you will come to Crocus Hill, Crocus Bay Harbor and Little Bay. In the north one finds the districts Cedar Village, North Side and Stoney Ground. To the east are the districts of Cauls Bottom, Farrington and Ray Hill. The center is formed by Mahogany Tree and The Quarter. Here in the center you will find the "Parliamentary Drive". A dead end, on the side of which almost all government buildings have been rebuilt in recent years. This also includes the financial administration, court, police and post office.

There is no public transport on the island. You rarely get to where you want to hitchhike, and there is little traffic in the east and west of the island.
