Trang(ตรัง) is the capital of the homonymous province in Southern Thailand.

By plane
Trang has its own (IATA: TST), which is a good five kilometers south of the city center. He is from Trang AirportBangkok-Don Mueang from daily with several flights of the companies Thai AirAsia and Nok Air. The flight takes about 1:20 hours and costs approx. 2200 THB (economy prices from 1080 THB) with Nok Air 3100 THB (economy from 890 THB) for one route with Air Asia.
A minibus takes you from the airport to the city center for 90 baht per person.
The car rental companies are at the airport Advice, budget, Sixt and Thai Rent a Car represented.
By train
Trang has a train station on a branch of the Thai Southern Railway. Two trains arrive here daily from Bangkok (via Hua Hin and Surat Thani). Both drive overnight. According to the plan, the faster one takes 13 hours, the slow one 17 hours. A third class seat costs 245 baht in the slow and 285 in the fast.
