Tourist attractions

  • Wooden belfry in Tresna - built in the Kremple hamlet in 1933 on the square donated by Jan Hankus and Józef Krępel. The bell, purchased a year before the building was built, was taken by the Nazis during World War II, but in 1947 a new bell was purchased for PLN 850,000 at that time. The facility has been renovated several times, the last renovation, thanks to the efforts of the village authorities, takes place in 2013. The belfry has a pole structure, it is upholstered with boards painted with a special protective paint. The hipped, tented roof is covered with a sheet metal. Inside the belfry there is a chapel with an altar and a pulpit, the whole can accommodate up to a dozen people.
  • The dam in Tresna - the largest tourist symbol of Tresna was completed in 1966. It is referred to as earth-erratic with a clay core. The length of the dam's crown is 300 meters and its width is approximately 10 meters. Mainly local materials were used for the construction of the dam, including thick-bedded Godul sandstones and gravel. The dam has a 3-wire bottom drain, thanks to which the flow capacity allows for 730 m³ / s. An additional capacity of 841 m³ / s is possible thanks to the three-span inlet which discharges excess water to the surface overflow with the rapids.
