Oulu (fi. Oulu) [1] is the fourth largest city in Finland with about 129,000 inhabitants. It is also by far the largest city in northern Finland. There are many IT companies in the city, as well as one of the country's largest technical universities.

There are flights to Helsinki, Riga and Rovaniemi as well as a lot of charter flights. The airport is located south of the city center and there is a bus there.
