Uljin is a city in Gyeongsang bukdo in South Korea.

Uljin is the capital of Uljin Province. This is where the district administration and the district court are located. The city is located on the east coast, i.e. on the East Sea (Donghae)

By plane
- From abroad: Incheon International Airport ICN
- From within Germany: Daegu International Airport TAE
- Uljin Airport is closed to passenger traffic after several accidents. It is now used exclusively for training pilots
By train
No rail connection. The next train station is Samcheok. A railway line from Pohang via Uljin to Samcheok is under construction, but will not be completed until Yeongdeok.
By bus
There are regular buses operated by private bus companies to Seoul, Pohang, Daegu and Gangneung.
In the street
On the A7 expressway, which connects Busan with Songdojilli on the demarcation line to North Korea and always runs along the east coast (Donghae).
By boat
There is only local shipping traffic in the port. The nearest port with regular service is Samcheok
