Hungary (Magyar) is an Uralic language. Together with the Manin and Khanty of the Obinugrians, it forms the Ugric language group of its language. Hungary is also a distant relative of the Finnish language, but at the level of vocabulary the languages differ greatly. There are similarities mainly in the basic structures of grammar, for example in the use of place terminals and vocalization.
