Dominated by the Ballon d'Alsace which peaks at 1 247 m of altitude the valley of the Doller is a valley with a thousand facets declined according to the rhythm of the seasons. To see

A tourist railway, the Train Thur Doller Alsace (TTDA), winds through the Doller valley. Since 1976, from Cernay to Sentheim, it has been using a section of the old line from Cernay to Sewen.

The Doller Valley is also famous for its beaver population.

The part of the valley extending over the municipalities of Aspach-le-Bas, Burnhaupt-le-Bas, Guewenheim, Heimsbrunn, Lutterbach, Michelbach, Morschwiller-le-Bas, Reiningue, Schweighouse-Thann is classified as a Natura 20003 site.

The valley offers mid-mountain sites, particularly suitable for hiking. In addition to the Ballon d'Alsace massif, that of Haute Bers, with its lakes (Perches, Neuweiher) are equipped with trails marked out by the Club Vosgien, allowing in particular to reach several farm inns.
