To arrive
The main access is through the BR-381 highway, Fernão Dias, which connects the city to Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and gives access to Rio de Janeiro. Recently privatized, it is undergoing improvements. Another option is the MG-167, in good condition but with a narrow and winding track, which leads to Três Pontas, Santana da Vargem, Nepomuceno, among other cities. BR-491 is the connection for those coming from the Poços de Caldas region.
