Višegrad (Cyrillic Вишеград; Slavic for "High Castle"; German outdated Wischegrad) is a small town in the southwest of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The bridge over the Drina was built in the 16th century, it has 11 brick arches and is around 180 m long, a masterpiece by the Ottoman architect Sinan. The building has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007. The bridge over the Drina is also the title of a novel published in 1945. It comes from the pen of Ivo Andrić, who received the Nobel Prize for Literature for it in 1961.
