Victoria (Grenada) is a town in the Saint Mark administrative district, Grenada.
background
As long as the French owned the island, the place was called Grand Pauvrewhat as much as huge poverty means. Today the place is popularly often called Sunset City not only because there are wonderful sunsets to watch. Victoria is the administrative headquarters for the St. Mark District. Queen Street (runs parallel to the sea) and Diamond Street (branches off at right angles to the south) are the two main streets.
