- 1 Vienenburg train station, Bahnhofstrasse 8a, 38690 Vienenburg. The Vienenburg station formed a railway junction in the northern Harz foreland, which is at least partially in place today. The station has one of the oldest reception buildings still in existence in Germany today. It is located just a few meters north of the center of Vienenburg. Next to the station building and connected to it by a corridor is the building of the so-called Kaisersaal, in which Wilhelm I, King of Prussia at the time and German Kaiser Wilhelm I, stayed in Vienenburg on August 15, 1875.

The rooms of the railway museum are located in the main building of the station.
