This little place is the main tourist center of the island. The place has a white sandy beach and a beautiful view of the offshore island of Young Island, it is developed for tourists. Young Island is only 200 m from the shore, the water between the mainland and the island is about 20 m deep. Sailboats like to anchor there.

In the street
The small village of Villa is easy to reach. It is on the main road that leads from the airport via Arnos Vale to Indian Bay. Almost without a visible transition you will then reach the village of Villa and immediately afterwards the Calliaqua Bay.
Tourist Attractions
- Fort Duvernette. Fort Duvernette is located on the 65 meter high rock of the same name in front of Young Island, it is also known as the Rock Fort. It was built around 1800 to protect Calliaqua Bay and consists of two gun emplacements, one with two cannons, the other with eight cannons. They are all still in their original place. You can visit the gun emplacements from Young Island. 249 steep steps lead to the top of the hill.
