Road 1 - Ring road is Islands Highway 1. The ring road is the largest road in Iceland. It goes through / past most cities and larger towns on the island. It is 1330 kilometers long, and goes past fjords, mountains, plateaus and plains. Road 1 is the only road that connects eastern and western Iceland.
