Hamlet-Simmerberg is a market community in Westallgäu in the Lindau district (Lake Constance). It is formed from the three large districts of Weiler im Allgäu, Simmerberg and Ellhofen.

From Röthenbach (Allgäu) train station, a comfortable, natural, safe bike path leads along the route of the former railway line to Weiler. Conversely, you can cycle from Weiler without a steep incline on this cycle path and the country road to the other districts of Ellhofen and Simmerberg.

Hike through the Hausbach Gorge from Weiler to Sulzberg. Wild and romantic. Currently (summer 2019) the lower section is blocked; due to wood breakage from last winter.
